Weed membrane is woven from long lasting polypropylene tape yarn.  It has been developed to block out sunlight and reduce photosynthesis, preventing weed and unwanted plant growth.  It's specially profiled threads allow water to drain away quickly, reducing ponding.  It can also be used inside greenhouses and tunnels, as well as for outdoor areas to keep them safe and tidy.  It is available to buy per square metre.
