No, we deliver using pallet carriers who use a tail-lift for offloading pallets. Some larger loads of 10 pallets or more can be priced this way by calling us.

Yes, once you've entered your postcode, the prices include both delivery and VAT.

You can request certain delivery times from a drop-down menu at checkout although additional charges will apply.

It is best if you are there to receive the goods but you can arrange for a neighbour or someone else to accept the goods and sign on your behalf. If you've not made us aware of this, the delivery driver will usually call you to make sure it is okay to leave the pallet in your absence.

Deliveries are made within 2-3 working days. The available delivery dates can be selected on a calendar at checkout. Next-day deliveries are available on orders placed before 1pm and are usually charged at £10.00 extra per pallet. If you choose a Next-day delivery after the 1pm cut-off, you will still be charged £10.00 per pallet, but your order won't leave us until the following day.

Nearly all of our orders are delivered on the day requested, but occasionally deliveries are delayed due to unforeseen circumstances which are beyond our control.

We recommend 14mm, 20mm or 10-20mm for driveways. Anything smaller than this can get stuck in tyre or shoe treads, and anything larger won't bed together well enough to form a flat surface. See our gravel page for more information.

If you go to our gravel calculator page and enter the measurements of the area you are going to cover, this will estimate how many tonnes/bags you require. For gravel drives and paths we recommend a depth of 50mm.

Our bulk bags weigh around 875kg while the pre-pack bags have around 20kg in each one.

We try to update photos of the products regularly and we feel they are a true likeness to the actual aggregates. However, as these are natural products, variations in colour will occurr from batch to batch. If you are in any doubt, please request a sample prior to ordering.

The best thing to do is accept the delivery and phone us immediately. We usually request that photos of the product be sent to sales@stonewarehouse.co.uk. If it has been delivered incorrectly, we will arrange to have it collected straight away and replaced with the correct material. If the product is sent away and turns out to be correct, it can be very expensive to return or have it re-delivered.

As our products are very competitively priced, we do not price match. If you have a large order of 10 tonnes or more, please call us for a quote as we may be able to use alternative delivery methods.

The customer is responsible for shipping the goods back to us. Once the goods have been received, a full refund will be given as long as the goods are received back in good condition. Goods must be returned within 7 working days from delivery.
