Here at Stone Warehouse we are always delighted to see the way in which our customers have utilised our stone within their garden designs.
We were recently thrilled to receive some photos from a customer based in Worcestershire showing three of our Apricot Monoliths from our stunning new range of Marbled Monoliths, alongside Flamingo chippings.
We were interested to learn why these particular types of stone had been chosen for her garden project. Our customer told us she was very happy with the original concept of the garden but needed a more low maintenance option. She wanted to keep the original contours between the lawn and the fence which had been small shrub areas for bedding plants and ground cover.
Knowing that she wanted the area to look light and bright she searched for ideas on what types of stone might fit these requirements. After finding the Flamingo chippings which perfectly suited her needs, she looked for larger feature stones to complement them and add height and interest to her borders.
Upon finding the Apricot Monoliths, she knew these would perfectly complement the Flamingo chippings and create attractive focal points within her borders, in the place of the plants that previously existed. The chippings provide an attractive base upon which she will be able to place any pot plants she wants to feature, with the option of alternating them to suit.
With more work still to be done, our customer is extremely pleased with the result so far and is looking forward to seeing the completion of her garden project.
If you would like your garden featured, please supply us with images and a little information about the idea behind the garden design.
