Darkening to near black when wet, our Charcoal Slate Chippings 40mm are an attractive decorative slate, perfect for fishponds and ornamental water features, lawn borders, raised beds and in a garden stone rockery. Supplied in bulk bags of 700kg approx. covering around 8m².

Clearance Charcoal Slate 40mm
Applications: Garden borders, as a mulch material, used to decorate raised flower beds & in garden stone rockeries, ornamental water features and fishponds
Actual Sizing: Sized 40mm but actually including pieces between 30-50mm with some variance possible due to nature of slate as a softer stone type.
Colour: Appearing grey in colour when dry, darkening to near black when wet with possible white and/or rusty inclusions present. On delivery, there may be some dust included that is easily washed away once laid.
Shape: irregular, angular chippings with a more flattened profile

Delivery Information
We aim to deliver all orders within 2-3 working days from receipt of order (Most orders placed before 1pm will be delivered in 2 working days).
Any Next Day deliveries need to be placed before 1pm Monday to Thursday.
Next Day deliveries placed on a Friday before 1pm will be delivered the following Monday
(Excluding Bank Holidays - then the delivery will be on the Tuesday)
