Driveway Gravel

The best gravel for driveways is typically graded between 14mm and 20mm and should be a hardwearing material – we also recommend using chippings that are angular in shape as this allows them to ‘lock’ together for a more secure driving surface and reduced rutting over time.

At Stone Warehouse, we have a range of suitable driveway aggregate in a vast array of colour tones from golden and cream to white and pink for seamless blending with any landscaping theme.

Types of Driveway Gravel

Driveway materials range from our more durable stones such as as GraniteBasaltQuartzite & Flint gravels, to our softer, more cost effective Limestone and Cotswold Chippings. More cost effective options also include our Trent Pea and Staffordshire Gravels, these do include some more rounded stones which won't  lock together quite as well.

With so many types of driveway gravel on offer, you’re sure to find the one for you at Stone Warehouse.
