Gravel Bond - Keep your gravel in place

A clear, water-based gravel binder designed to help reduce the movement of loose decorative aggregates, creating a neater, more stable and lower-maintenance finish. 

Decorative gravel looks fantastic, but loose stones have a habit of moving beyond the area they were originally intended for.

Gravel Bond helps bind individual stones together, reducing movement and helping borders, decorative areas and pathways stay looking neater for longer.

The clear binder allows the natural colour and texture of your decorative aggregate to remain the focus, without creating the appearance of a conventional solid paved surface.

How to apply Gravel Bond

Pour-On Method - Stronger surface bond

Best for decorative gravel areas and suitable pathways where a stronger surface bond is required.

1. Make sure the stones are clean and completely dry.
2. Gently pour Gravel Bond evenly over the surface using a watering can fitted with a fine rose head.
3. Apply evenly, taking care not to over-saturate or under-apply the product.
4. Two coats are recommended for improved durability.
5. Do not disturb the surface until fully cured.

• Approximate coverage per 5L. 6-8m²

Spray-On Method - Decorative Stabilisation

Best for decorative areas where the aim is to reduce loose surface movement and dust.

1. Make sure the stones are clean and completely dry.
2. Apply Gravel Bond evenly over the surface using a suitable airless sprayer.
3. Ensure consistent coverage across the complete area.
4. Avoid over-saturating or leaving untreated patches.
5. Do not disturb the surface until fully cured.

• Approximate coverage per 5L. 12-14m²
• Important: Spray-on application is intended for decorative areas and is not suitable for foot traffic.

Preparation matters - The quality of the finished surface depends on suitable stone, good drainage and dry applications conditions

• Aggregate must be clean and completely dry.
• Remove moss, dust, debris and other contamination before application.
• Use over a permeable, free-draining base.
• For best results use angular decorative aggregates approximately 4–20mm in size.
• Apply only when the ambient temperature is above 5°C.
• Do not apply in humidity above 85%.
• Do not apply if rain, dew or frost is expected within the following 72 hours.

Important to know - Gravel Bond needs the right conditions to achieve its intended bond

• Do not disturb the treated surface until it has fully cured.
• Avoid areas where water regularly pools or the finished surface could remain submerged.
• Prolonged submersion in water may cause stones to loosen.
• Store Gravel Bond in a cool, dry place.
• During storage, keep the product out of reach of children and pets.
