Following the popularity of our Rustic Slate Rockery we have extended our range to include Cornish Slate Rockery which combines the lovely rusticity that's so popular with a more greenish shade of natural slate. Uses include rockeries, raised beds and decorative stone walling but as a fish friendly material it is also popular for water features, fish ponds and aquatics. The size of each piece is approx. 250mm across (please see our sizing information) and we sell in full crates of approx. 70 pieces or half crates of approx. 35 pieces. Delivery information
We aim to deliver all orders within 2-3 working days from receipt of order (Most orders placed before 1pm will be delivered in 2 working days).
Any Next Day deliveries need to be placed before 1pm Monday to Thursday.
Next Day deliveries placed on a Friday before 1pm will be delivered the following Monday excluding Bank Holidays - then the delivery will be on the Tuesday)

Blue Slate Paddlestones
Blue Slate Paddlestones 50-100mm are tumbled to produce a smooth finish with more rounded edges and they are widely used as decoration around fish ponds or in water features and fountains. They are also popular for stone rockeries, raised beds and garden borders and can create an attractive contrast with another of our slate colours Green Paddlestones, Plum Paddlestones or Charcoal Slate Paddlestones. Large Slate Paddlestones
Our attractive Large Slate Paddlestones, also known as Celtic Paddlestones, are predominantly blue with some pieces of green and plum slate that are tumbled for a smoother surface and rounded edges. Uses include paving, stepping stones, gabion baskets, walling, rockeries and borders and as a fish friendly product they are also ideal for water features and fish ponds. The size of the pieces is 150-300mmm with some smaller angular pieces possible - please see sizing info. Green Slate Chippings 20mm
Green Slate Chippings 20mm are a natural subtle green colour that blends well into any garden environment. Uses include decorative features, borders, paths and rockeries but as a fish friendly product it can also be used in water features and ponds. Green slate tends to be chunkier than our plum, charcoal and blue slate and as with all slates it looks beautiful when wet. The pictures show the product wet and dry. The actual size of the product is between 5–30mm which is a good size for paths as it tends to bed together better than the larger 40mm Green Slate to form a flatter walking surface. Green Slate Chippings 40mm
Green Slate Chippings 40mm are a larger alternative to the 20mm that are ideal for decorative borders and other landscaping projects where a chunkier look is required. A versatile stone with a natural subtle green colour that darkens when wet it will blend well with any garden environment. As a fish friendly product it is ideal for water features and fish ponds. Generally the 40mm size is unsuitable for a drive or path with our 20mm Green Slate Chippings being a better option as they lay flatter. The 40mm is a popular decorative ground covering stone and excellent weed suppressant with a more attractive look than a bark or mulch alternative. Please see our sizing info. Green Granite Rockery
This eye-catching, stylish and hardwearing green granite rockery stone is ideal for creating a focal point in any garden. With bluey green hues it reflects light and is a lighter shade when dry and darker when wet. With its elegant look it is ideal for rockeries, gabions, ponds and water features and it will continue to look good for many years.
