Our NEW Slate Mini Mulch appears grey when dry, but in the wet the predominantly plum colour really comes out with flecks of blue and other slate colours also visible. Graded at 5-14mm with some variance likely, this is an attractive recycled by-product from the manufacturing of natural slate tiles but when used as dressing for your garden borders and raised beds it creates an eye catching feature in any landscaping project. This slate is also suitable for ornamental water features and fish ponds, for topping plant pots and as a base for a garden rockery. Slate Mini Mulch & Pipe Bedding 5-14mm
Applications: Used as a pipe bedding or plant mulching product, Suitable for garden borders, raised beds and rockeries, for ornamental water features, fish ponds and other aquatic and landscaping projects.
Actual sizing: Graded at 5-14mm with variance is size likely due to the nature of a soft slate material
Colour: Predominantly plum in colour with flecks of blue and other colours that appear grey when dry
Shape: Angular, irregular pieces
Material: Recycled Natural Slate from broken slate roofing tile production
Delivery information
We aim to deliver all orders within 2-3 working days from receipt of order (Most orders placed before 1pm will be delivered in 2 working days).
Any Next Day deliveries need to be placed before 1pm Monday to Thursday.
Next Day deliveries placed on a Friday before 1pm will be delivered the following Monday excluding Bank Holidays - then the delivery will be on the Tuesday)

Our attractive Large Slate Paddlestones, also known as Celtic Paddlestones, are predominantly blue with some pieces of green and plum slate that are tumbled for a smoother surface and rounded edges. Uses include paving, stepping stones, gabion baskets, walling, rockeries and borders and as a fish friendly product they are also ideal for water features and fish ponds. The size of the pieces is 150-300mmm with some smaller angular pieces possible - please see sizing info.
