Our Slate Path appears bluish grey when dry, but when wet becomes predominantly plum in colour. Graded at 0-12mm with some variance possible, this is an attractive recycled by-product from the manufacturing of the finest natural Welsh slate roofing tiles.
The finer 12mm to dust grades of this Slate Path pack extremely well to provide wheelchair, pram and cycle friendly paths within many applications, particularly ecologically sensitive situations. When used as dressing for your garden borders and raised beds it creates an eye-catching feature for any landscaping project. This plum slate is also particularly popular for ornamental water features, around fishponds or as a base for a garden stone rockery. With the Slate Path being a 0-12mm grade aggregate, it can work extremely well as a sub-base. Supplied bulk bags of 800kg approx.

Slate Path 0-12mm
Applications: Used for pathways, tracks, other landscaping projects and as a pipe bedding material or for plant mulching. Suitable for garden borders, raised beds and decorative rockeries, or used as part of an ornamental water feature, or fishpond.
Actual sizing: Graded at 0-12mm with variance in size likely due to the nature of a soft slate material with pieces up to 20mm possible. This is a dusty product so on delivery some dust may be present.
Colour: Predominantly plum in colour with flecks of blue and other colours that appears a bluey grey when the material is dry as pictured.
Shape: Angular, irregular pieces
Material: Recycled natural Welsh Slate, a by-product from broken slate roofing tile production
Delivery Information
We aim to deliver all orders within 2-3 working days from receipt of order (Most orders placed before 1pm will be delivered in 2 working days).
Any Next Day deliveries need to be placed before 1pm Monday to Thursday.
Next Day deliveries placed on a Friday before 1pm will be delivered the following Monday
(Excluding Bank Holidays - then the delivery will be on the Tuesday)
